BEHAVIOR TECHNICIANS

Destiny Management offers a friendly, supportive work environment and a flexible work schedule for entry level employees desiring to work with persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Fulltime, part-time and paid internship positions are offered in a variety of community, facility and home based settings.  Destiny offers paid   orientation and on the job training to qualified applicants.

Applicants must complete a criminal background check, TB and drug screening, and provide official verification of High School diploma or Graduation Equivalency Degree (GED). All applicants must be 18 years old or older to qualify and have a valid drivers license and show proof of vehicle  insurance.

QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS

Destiny Management Incorporated welcomes the opportunity to build brighter futures for current employees who meet Qualified Professional status or those who are applying outside the agency.

When individual meets Qualified Professional status:

¨  Registered Nurse (Licensed by NC) and four years post degree full time accumulated experience with DD population.

¨  Masters Degree in Human services field and one year full time post-graduate accumulated DD experience.

¨  Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in human services field and two years of full time post-bachelor’s degree accumulated experience with DD population.

¨  Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in a field other than human services and four years of full time post-bachelor’s degree accumulated experience with DD population.

This employer will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee’s Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.

ORIENTATION TRAINING

All initial agency orientation and recertification training sessions are scheduled the first full week of each month, with the exception of December, at the Corporate Office in Drexel at 209 Oakland AvenueAM and PM Sessions are available for most classes.

Destiny Management is proud to partner with Therap Services, LLC

Therap Services, LLC provides secure, web-based documentation, communication and electronic billing services to 7000+ Home and Community Based Service providers across the United States as well asq for 20+ state government IDD and Early Intervention systems of care. This includes a certified EHR, HIPAA compliant Medicaid and private billing, service documentation and secure communication and data sharing between all stakeholders including families and self advocates.

Applicants are generally hired within one week of the agency orientation. Recertification classes are required annually during the employees anniversary month of hire to maintain employment.  More information regarding employment benefits can be found in the Destiny Management Employee Handbook.
